MY FIRST DAY AT SCHOOL

Monday, 15th June 2023

     

     Today is the happiest day of my life. 

     आज माझ्या आयुष्यातील सर्वात आनंदाचा दिवस आहे. School re-opened and I was glad to meet all my old buddies. शाळा सुरू झाली आणि माझ्या सर्व जुन्या मित्रांना भेटून मला आनंद झाला. Our class teacher, our favourite Mrs. Joshi entered the classroom. आमच्या आवडत्या वर्गशिक्षिका श्रीमती जोशी वर्गात आल्या. We all leaped with joy. आम्ही सर्वांनी आनंदाने उडी मारली. After attendance and giving the class time table, it was time to appoint the monitor. हजेरी लावून वर्गाचे वेळापत्रक दिल्यानंतर मॉनिटरची नेमणूक करण्याची वेळ आली.

     The teacher prepares chits of all the students and picks up one chit. शिक्षक सर्व विद्यार्थ्यांच्या चिठ्ठ्या तयार करतात आणि एक चिठ्ठी उचलतात. The name that appears on the chit is appointed as the monitor. चिठ्ठीमध्ये दिसणारे नाव मॉनिटर म्हणून नियुक्त केले जाते.

     Oh...how we all waited! ओह... आम्ही सर्व किती वाट पाहत होतो! Finally the chit was picked and my name was announced. शेवटी चिट्ठी उचलली गेली आणि माझ्या नावाची घोषणा झाली. I just jumped up with joy. मी आनंदाने उडी मारली. The teacher and all the students congratulated me. शिक्षकांनी आणि सर्व विद्यार्थ्यांनी माझे अभिनंदन केले. This was the first time in the eight years of my school life that I was appointed as the monitor. माझ्या आठ वर्षांच्या शालेय जीवनात माझी मॉनिटर म्हणून नियुक्ती होण्याची ही पहिलीच वेळ होती. I was very happy. मी खूप आनंदी होते. The teacher assigned me certain duties.शिक्षकांनी मला काही कर्तव्ये सोपवली. She told me to be prepared to take up the responsibility. त्यांनी मला जबाबदारी उचलण्यास तयार राहण्यास सांगितले.

     I am getting ready for the new role. मी नव्या भूमिकेसाठी तयार आहे.  What a wonderful day! किती छान दिवस!
