Write a report about the Science Exhibition held at your school
Science Exhibition, Nahur(E.)
12 November 2024
An interschool Science Exhibition for 2024–25 was held at MMK High School on 9–11 November 2024. The exhibition was conducted in 3 parts: Cultural, Practical, and Applied.
The inaugural session began with the Indian traditional lamp-lighting ceremony, invocation to God, and a Prayer Dance. All these 3 events had science embedded with movements, rhythm, music, and superpowers.
The Chief Guest was a scientist with a lot of work in the fields of biotextiles, biomedicine, and biochemistry to his credit. The guest of honor was a pillar in the field of physics and technology. The décor and decoration were all with mathematical and science symbols, such as test tubes and beakers, in cutout forms as frills for the doors and windows, atoms to molecules, with all scientific terms coming out of a space-shuttle like musical notes.
The cultural fiesta of dance, gymnastics, and skits showed science in a live form-velocity, momentum, energy, power, and chemistry everything in live force.
The rangolis were symbolic of mathematics, science, and cultural fiesta! The 84 projects were working models. All senior and junior students were engrossed in explanations and hard-sell, to prove that their models were the best.
Academics has always been correlative and collaborative. The science exhibition proved it. There were projects on geography, environment, adult literacy, and pollution. Even the teachers, with their teaching aids, were part of the scientific motley crowd. The whole atmosphere breathed science with portraits of all the national and international scientists watching the fiesta from the walls.
Indeed, the 3-day the sci-fest with scientific ambiance was filled with talks, speeches, magic shows, AV presentations, on applied skits on metals, presenting their uses in the form of dialogues, Science songs, Fashion show with scientific equipment, poems on mathematics, computers talking out their woes, quizzes, and artwork. Scientific entertainment, edutainment, and infotainment satisfied the hunger of all science lovers.
It was a lovely exhibition that gave a clear message: Science can spread happiness and India is in the safe hands of its-savvy, science-loving youngsters.
