 AN HOUR AT THE POST OFFICE टपाल कार्यालयातील एक तास

     I visited the post office yesterday to send a parcel. मी काल एका पार्सलसाठी टपाल कार्यालयात गेलो होतो. As I entered, I saw a long queue at the counter. मी आत शिरल्यावर काऊंटरवर मोठी रांग पाहिली. People were holding letters, parcels, and forms in their hands. लोकांच्या हातात पत्रे, पार्सल्स आणि फॉर्म्स होते. I joined the queue and waited patiently for my turn. मी रांगेत उभा राहिलो आणि शांतपणे माझी वेळ येण्याची वाट पाहिली.
     The staff behind the counter were working diligently. काऊंटरमागील कर्मचारी मन लावून काम करत होते. Some people were filling forms, while others were checking postage rates. काही लोक फॉर्म भरत होते, तर काही पोस्टाचे दर तपासत होते. A man in front of me was sending a registered letter. माझ्या समोरील माणूस नोंदणीकृत पत्र पाठवत होता. He was asking the staff several questions about delivery times. तो वितरणाच्या वेळेबद्दल कर्मचाऱ्यांना अनेक प्रश्न विचारत होता.
     Meanwhile, I observed the notice board on the wall. दरम्यान, मी भिंतीवरील सूचना फलक पाहिला. It displayed various schemes and services offered by the post office. त्यावर टपाल कार्यालयाने दिलेल्या विविध योजना आणि सेवांची माहिती होती.
     After a wait of about 30 minutes, it was finally my turn. सुमारे ३० मिनिटांच्या प्रतीक्षेनंतर शेवटी माझी वेळ आली. I handed over my parcel to the staff and paid the charges. मी माझे पार्सल कर्मचाऱ्यांच्या ताब्यात दिले आणि शुल्क भरले. They weighed the parcel and stuck a stamp on it. त्यांनी पार्सलचे वजन केले आणि त्यावर एक शिक्का लावला.
     I thanked the staff and left the post office. मी कर्मचाऱ्यांचे आभार मानले आणि टपाल कार्यालयातून बाहेर पडलो. This visit made me appreciate the hard work of postal workers. या भेटीमुळे मला टपाल कर्मचाऱ्यांच्या मेहनतीचे महत्त्व पटले. It was indeed a productive and insightful hour. खरंच, हा एक फलदायी आणि शिकण्यासारखा तास होता.
