• Do you think M. Hamel was a good teacher? Why or why not?
Ans. Yes, M. Hamel was a good teacher because he truly cared for his students and his language. Though he was strict, he was passionate about teaching and was deeply saddened by the loss of French in schools. होय, एम. हमेल एक चांगले शिक्षक होते कारण त्यांना त्यांच्या विद्यार्थ्यांची आणि त्यांच्या भाषेची खूप काळजी होती. ते कठोर होते, पण शिक्षणाबद्दल त्यांची निष्ठा आणि फ्रेंच भाषा गमावण्याचे दुःख स्पष्ट दिसत होते.

• How does the story make you feel about your own language and culture?
Ans. It makes me feel proud of my language and culture. It also reminds me to respect and preserve them because they are part of my identity. ही कथा मला माझ्या भाषेचा आणि संस्कृतीचा अभिमान वाटायला लावते. यामुळे त्या जतन करण्याचे महत्त्वही लक्षात येते, कारण त्या माझ्या ओळखीचा भाग आहेत.

• Why do you think Franz regretted not learning his lessons earlier?
Ans. Franz regretted it because he realized that he had wasted time and that he would never get another chance to learn French again. फ्रांझला पश्चात्ताप झाला कारण त्याने खूप वेळ वाया घालवला आणि त्याला पुन्हा कधीच फ्रेंच शिकण्याची संधी मिळणार नव्हती.

• What do you think Franz learned from this experience?
Ans. He learned the importance of education, discipline, and valuing one’s own language before it is too late. त्याने शिक्षणाचे, शिस्तीचे आणि स्वतःच्या भाषेचे महत्त्व वेळ असताना ओळखणे गरजेचे आहे, हे शिकले.

• What message does the story give about patriotism?
Ans. The story teaches that loving one’s country is not just about fighting wars but also about preserving its language and culture. ही कथा शिकवते की देशभक्ती ही केवळ युद्ध लढण्यात नाही, तर आपल्या भाषेचे आणि संस्कृतीचे रक्षण करण्यातही आहे.

• If you were in Franz’s place, how would you have reacted to the announcement?
Ans.  I would have felt heartbroken and regretful for not valuing my language earlier. I would also try to remember and use my language as much as possible. मला खूप वाईट आणि पश्चात्ताप वाटला असता की मी माझ्या भाषेचे महत्त्व आधी ओळखले नाही. मी ती शक्य तितकी आठवण्याचा आणि वापरण्याचा प्रयत्न केला असता.
