Fun Family Cooking Time

It’s a joyful evening in the kitchen! The whole family is cooking dinner together. Laughter fills the air as they share stories, chop vegetables, and prepare delicious dishes like vegetable pulao, paneer bhaji, koshimbir, curd, and a sweet dish. To end the meal perfectly, they’ve also planned a special ice cream dessert. Everyone has a role, and the kitchen becomes a place of fun, teamwork, and yummy aromas.

Mother: Today, let’s make vegetable pulao and raita for dinner.
आज आपण भाज्यांचा पुलाव आणि रायता बनवूया.

Raha: I’ll wash the vegetables!
मी भाज्या धुऊन देईन!

Raha: I can chop the onions and tomatoes.
मी कांदे आणि टोमॅटो चिरून देते.

Guest Auntie: And I’ll make the paneer bhaji.
आणि मी पनीर भाजी बनवते.

Guest Auntie: What spices do you use for the pulao?
पुलावमध्ये कोणते मसाले वापरता?

Mother: I have homemade pulao masala. Cumin, cardamom, and some garam masala — it smells amazing!
माझ्याकडे घरचं पुलाव मसाला आहे. जिरे, वेलची आणि थोडा गरम मसाला — वासच छान येतो!

Father: I will make the raita with carrot, curd, onions, chilli, peanut powder, and cucumber.
मी गाजर, दही, कांदा, मिरची, शेंगदाण्याची पूड आणि काकडी घालून रायता बनवतो.

Raha: Cooking together is so much fun!
एकत्र स्वयंपाक करण्यात खूप मजा येते!

Mother: That’s the magic of a happy kitchen.
हीच तर आनंदी स्वयंपाकघराची जादू आहे.

Mother: Dinner is ready. Wash your hands and sit.
जेवण तयार आहे. सर्वांनी हात धुवून जेवायला बसा.

Aai: Don’t feel shy. Take whatever you want. Eat to your heart’s content!
कोणीही लाजू नका. पोटभर जेवा. तुम्हाला जे हवे ते घ्या.

Guest Auntie: Should I serve the sweet dish now or later?
गोड पदार्थ आता वाढू का नंतर?

Father: Let’s finish dinner first. Sweet is for the grand ending!
आधी जेवण करूया. गोड पदार्थ शेवटीच पाहिजे!

Raha: I have ordered 2 ice cream family packs on Zepto. They will be delivered soon.
मी Zepto वर २ आईसक्रीम फॅमिली पॅक ऑर्डर केले आहेत. ते लवकरच येतील.

Guest Uncle: Yes! Ice cream after dinner is the best treat.
हो! जेवणानंतर आईसक्रीम म्हणजे मस्त मेजवानी.

Mother (smiling): Only if everyone finishes their dinner first!
सगळ्यांनी जेवण पूर्ण केले, तरच आईसक्रीम!

All laugh and continue eating happily.
सगळे हसतात आणि आनंदाने जेवतात.
