Moral story - Two frogs with the same problem

     Once upon a time, in a lush green forest, there lived two frogs named Meru and Viru. एकेकाळी हिरव्यागार जंगलात मेरू आणि वीरू नावाचे दोन बेडूक राहत होते. They were best friends and did everything together, from exploring the ponds to chasing dragonflies. ते चांगले मित्र होते आणि तलाव शोधण्यापासून ड्रॅगनफ्लायचा पाठलाग करण्यापर्यंत सर्व काही त्यांनी एकत्र केले.

     Once, their group was roaming around the forest in search of water. एकदा त्यांचा गट पाण्याच्या शोधात जंगलात फिरत होता. Suddenly Meru and Viru frogs accidentally fell into a deep pit. अचानक गटातील मेरू आणि विरू चुकून खोल खड्ड्यात पडले.

     Seeing how deep the pit was, they told the two frogs that there was no way they could escape the deep pit and that there was no point in trying. खड्डा किती खोल आहे हे पाहून त्यांनी त्या दोन बेडकांना सांगितले की खोल खड्ड्यातून बाहेर पडण्याचा कोणताही मार्ग नाही आणि प्रयत्न करण्यात काही अर्थ नाही. They continued to constantly discourage them as Meru and Viru tried to jump out of the pit. मेरू आणि विरू खड्ड्यातून बाहेर उडी मारण्याचा प्रयत्न करत असताना ते सतत त्यांना परावृत्त करत राहिले. Soon, Meru started to believe the other frogs that they’ll never be able to escape the pit and eventually died after giving up. लवकरच, मेरूने दुसऱ्या बेडकांवर विश्वास ठेवण्यास सुरुवात केली की तो कधीही खड्ड्यातून सुटू शकणार नाही आणि अखेरीस हार मानल्यानंतर मरण पावला. Viru keeps trying and eventually jumps so high that he escapes the pit. विरू प्रयत्न करत राहिला आणि अखेरीस इतकी उंच उडी मारतो की तो खड्ड्यातून पळून जातो. The other frogs were shocked at this and wondered how he did it. इतर बेडकांना हे पाहून धक्का बसला आणि त्याने हे कसे केले असा प्रश्न पडला. The difference was that the second frog was deaf and couldn’t hear the discouragement of the group. फरक इतका होता की दुसरा बेडूक बहिरा होता आणि गटाची निराशा ऐकू शकत नव्हता. He simply thought they were cheering him on! त्याला फक्त वाटले की ते त्याचा जयजयकार करत आहेत!

Moral of the story - People’s opinion of you will affect you, only if you believe it to be so. It’s better to believe in yourself.
