Visiting a sick friend | आजारी मित्राची भेट

Shivani visits her sick friend, Parvat, in the hospital and wishes him speedy recovery. शिवानी तिचा आजारी मित्र पर्वत याला हॉस्पिटलमध्ये भेटायला जाते आणि त्याला लवकर बरे होण्यासाठी शुभेच्छा देते.

Shivani : Hello Parvat. How are you feeling today?

शिवानी : नमस्कार पर्वत. आज तुला कस वाटतंय?

Parvat : Is that you Shivani? It is nice of you to come to see me. But how  did you know that I wasn't well?

पर्वत :  तू शिवानी आहेस होय? तू मला भेटायला आल्याने मला आनंद झाला. पण माझी तब्येत बरी नाही हे तुला कसं कळलं?

Shivani : Well. Priya told me in the market yesterday.

शिवानी : बरं. प्रियाने मला काल बाजारात सांगितलं.

Parvat : I had high fever for the last three days. I am much better today.

पर्वत : गेल्या तीन दिवसांपासून मला खूप ताप होता. मी आज खूप बरा आहे.

Shivani : Had the doctor been in to see you?

शिवानी : डॉक्टर तुला भेटायला आले होते का?

Parvat : Yes, he had been here, the day before yesterday.

पर्वत : होय, ते परवा आले होते.

Shivani : What did he say?

शिवानी : काय म्हणाले?

Parvat : To doctor said it was malaria. He examined me and gave me some medicine. That's why I have no fever today.

पर्वत : डॉक्टरांनी मलेरिया असल्याचे सांगितले. त्यांनी माझी तपासणी करून मला औषध दिले. म्हणूनच आज मला ताप नाही.

Shivani : I told my mother about your illness. She was very sorry for you. Well, I hope you will be all right soon.

शिवानी : मी माझ्या आईला तुझ्या आजाराबद्दल सांगितलं. तिला तुझ्याबद्दल खूप वाईट वाटले. बरं, मला आशा आहे की तू लवकरच बरा होशील.

Parvat : Thank you, Shivani. But I am tired of lying in bed.

पर्वत : धन्यवाद, शिवानी. पण मला अंथरुणावर पडून कंटाळा आला आहे.

Shivani : I can understand. It must be very boring to lie in the bed for days together. But you must take rest and pull up your strength again. You look very weak.

शिवानी : मी समजू शकते. कित्येक दिवस असेच अंथरुणावर पडून राहणे खूप कंटाळवाणे असले पाहिजे. पण तुम्ही विश्रांती घेतली पाहिजे आणि पुन्हा तुझी ताकद वाढव. तू खूप अशक्त दिसत आहेस.

Parvat : Yes, I am. I'm confined to bed. It's terrible!

पर्वत : होय, मी आहे. मी अंथरुणावर बंदिस्त आहे. हे भयंकर आहे!

Shivani : Shall I bring some story books and magazines for you to read?

शिवानी : मी तुझ्यासाठी काही गोष्टीची पुस्तके आणि मासिके आणू का?

Parvat : That would be fine! Please, do bring. You are very kind.

पर्वत : बरं होईल! कृपया, घेऊन ये. तू खुप दयाळू आहेस.

Shivani : Well, I must not tire you with talking more now. I think I must push off now. I will look in again tomorrow. Till then goodbye.

शिवानी : बरं, आता जास्त बोलून मी तुला कंटाळू नये. मला वाटतं मी आता बाहेर पडायला हवं. मी उद्या पुन्हा बघेन. तोपर्यंत निरोप.

Parvat : Goodbye! And many thanks for coming. Your visit has cheered me up.

पर्वत : निरोप घेते! आणि आल्याबद्दल खूप खूप धन्यवाद. तुझ्या भेटीने मला आनंद दिला आहे.
