My school is quite far from my house. माझी शाळा माझ्या घरापासून खूप लांब आहे. I have to travel by bus to school everyday. मला रोज बसने शाळेत जावे लागते. Normally I get the bus within five minutes but yesterday, when I reached the bus stop, I found there was unusually long queue. साधारणपणे मला पाच मिनिटांत बस मिळते. पण काल, जेव्हा मी बस स्टॉपवर पोहोचलो तेव्हा मला दिसले की तिथे विलक्षण लांब रांग आहे. I stood in the queue. मी रांगेत उभा राहिलो. I asked the lady standing ahead of me the reason for this. मी माझ्या पुढे उभ्या असलेल्या महिलेला याचे कारण विचारले. She explained that the previous bus's engine had broken down and all the passengers alighted at this bus stop. तिने स्पष्ट केले की मागील बसचे इंजिन खराब झाले होते आणि सर्व प्रवासी या बसस्टॉपवर खाली उतरले. I was worried that I would be late for school. मला शाळेला जायला उशीर होईल अशी भिती वाटत होती. The queue was getting longer. रांग लांबत चालली होती. Two boys tried to jump the queue. दोन मुलांनी रांगेच्या पुढे जाण्याचा प्रयत्न केला. But they were hooted out. पण त्यांना हुसकावून लावण्यात आले.After about ten minutes the bus came along. साधारण दहा मिनिटांनी बस आली. But the bus was crowded and didn't take any passenger. पण बसमध्ये गर्दी असल्याने एकही प्रवासी घेतला नाही. A beggar was pestering the commuters for money. एक भिकारी पैशासाठी प्रवाशांना त्रास देत होता. When after a long time a bus came along. बऱ्याच वेळाने एक बस आली. Passengers rushed to get into the bus. बसमध्ये चढण्यासाठी प्रवाशांनी गर्दी केली. Fortunately I could get in, though I didn't get a seat. सुदैवाने मी आत जाऊ शकलो पण मला जागा मिळाली नाही.When I reached school, I found that there were also a few other students like me and two teachers who were late. जेव्हा मी शाळेत पोहोचलो तेव्हा मला दिसले की माझ्यासारखे इतर काही विद्यार्थी आणि दोन शिक्षक देखील उशिरा आले होते. The teacher understood the situation when we explained it to her and excused us. आम्ही त्यांना समजावून सांगितल्यावर शिक्षिकांना परिस्थिती समजली आणि आम्हाला माफ केले. Then I went to the classroom. मग मी वर्गात गेलो.
