MY GRANDMOTHER

    My grandmother is a beautiful woman. माझी आजी एक सुंदर स्त्री आहे. She is sixty years old. ती साठ वर्षांची आहे. Her name is Kusum. तिचे नाव कुसुम आहे.

     She has silver hair. तिचे केस चंदेरी आहेत. She doesn't wear glasses. ती चष्मा घालत नाही. She can see quite well without glasses. ती चष्म्याशिवाय बऱ्यापैकी पाहू शकते. She can easily thread a needle. ती सहज सुईमध्ये धागा घालू शकते.

     She has smooth skin with very few wrinkles. तिची त्वचा मुलायम असून तिच्यावर अगदी कमी सुरकुत्या आहेत. She is healthy, strong and active. ती निरोगी, मजबूत आणि सक्रिय आहे. She gets up at 6o'clock in the morning. ती सकाळी 6 वाजता उठते. Then she takes a bath. मग ती आंघोळ करते. Then she goes to the Shiva Temple. मग ती शिवमंदिरात जाते. She goes there to sing bhajans. ती तिथे भजन गाण्यासाठी जाते.

     She returns home at 7.30. ती 7.30 वाजता घरी परतते. Then she takes her breakfast. मग ती नाश्ता घेते. Then she helps my mother in the kitchen work. मग ती माझ्या आईला स्वयंपाकाच्या कामात मदत करते. She keeps herself busy. ती स्वतःला व्यस्त ठेवते.

     Though she is vegetarian, she cooks nonveg dishes. जरी ती शाकाहारी असली तरी ती नॉनव्हेज पदार्थ बनवते.  She eats simple food. ती साधे अन्न खाते. She observes a fast on monday. ती सोमवारी उपवास करते. She reads newspaper. ती वर्तमानपत्र वाचते. She doesn't like TV serials. तिला टीव्ही मालिका आवडत नाहीत.

     There are always some effective medicines in her pouch. तिच्या थैलीत नेहमीच काही प्रभावी औषधे असतात. My neighbours come to take medicines from her. माझे शेजारी तिच्याकडून औषध घ्यायला येतात. Our neighbours benefit from her good advice and free medical help. तिच्या चांगल्या सल्ल्याचा आणि मोफत वैद्यकीय मदतीचा आमच्या शेजाऱ्यांना फायदा होतो.

     Every night she tells us interesting stories of ghosts. रोज रात्री ती आम्हाला भुताच्या मनोरंजक  गोष्टी सांगते. I love my granny very much. मी माझ्या आजीवर खूप प्रेम करतो. I take good care of my granny. मी माझ्या आजीची चांगली काळजी घेतो.
