Every year, I have a Summer vacation from 1st May to 14th June. दरवर्षी मला 1 मे ते 14 जून अशी उन्हाळी सुट्टी असते. I love the summer vacation because we have nearly 2 months of holidays of no studies and no homework. मला उन्हाळ्याची सुट्टी खूप आवडते कारण आमच्याकडे जवळपास दोन महिने अभ्यास नसलेल्या सुट्ट्या असतात आणि गृहपाठ नसतो. I can do many things during this vacation. या सुट्टीत मी अनेक गोष्टी करू शकतो. This year, I spent my summer vacation at our farmhouse in Deogad. यावर्षी मी माझी उन्हाळी सुट्टी देवगड येथील आमच्या फार्म हाऊसवर घालवली. My 4 cousins from Goa had also arrived and we had lovely time together. गोव्याहून माझे चार चुलत भाऊही आले होते आणि आम्ही एकत्र वेळ घालवला.
My grandparents live in a bungalow. माझे आजी-आजोबा एका बंगलोमध्ये राहतात. There are many rooms in that bungalow. त्या बंगल्यात अनेक खोल्या आहेत. There is also a large garden with huge Mango trees, Jackfruit trees, coconut trees, Cashew nut trees, Papaya trees, etc. आंब्याची, फणसाची झाडे, नारळाची झाडे, काजूची झाडे, पपईची झाडे इत्यादींची एक मोठी बाग देखील आहे.
We children had a grand time. आम्हा मुलांचा वेळ खूप छान गेला. We were given the entire second floor of the bungalow for our use. आम्हाला आमच्या वापरासाठी बंगल्याचा संपूर्ण दुसरा मजला देण्यात आला होता.
When it rained first, we were playing in the garden. पहिला पाऊस पडला तेव्हा आम्ही बागेत खेळत होतो. We danced in the garden. आम्ही बागेत नाचलो. Whenever it rained, we used to go into the garden and dance there. जेव्हा जेव्हा पाऊस पडायचा तेव्हा आम्ही बागेत जाऊन नाचायचो. We played a number of games in the garden. आम्ही बागेत अनेक खेळ खेळलो. We plucked Mogra, Shoe flowers and Jasmine flowers and helped granny to make garlands. आम्ही मोगरा, जास्वंदीची फुले आणि चमेलीची फुले तोडली आणि आजीला हार बनवायला मदत केली. It was great fun to play with cats, dogs and cows. मांजरी, कुत्र्यांशी आणि गाईंशी खेळायला खूप मजा आली.
Cuisines prepared from garden-grown fresh vegetables were very tasty. बागेतील ताज्या भाज्यांपासून तयार केलेले पदार्थ खूप चवदार होते. Throughout our stay, Granny served us delicious and healthy food of all sorts. आमच्या संपूर्ण मुक्कामात आजीने आम्हाला सर्व प्रकारचे स्वादिष्ट आणि सकस अन्न दिले. Every morning, Grandpa used to take us for a walk to a nearby river. रोज सकाळी आजोबा आम्हाला जवळच्या नदीवर फिरायला घेऊन जायचे. There, we played in the water. तिथे आम्ही पाण्यात खेळलो. I wish we could stay there forever. माझी इच्छा आहे की आम्ही तिथे कायमचे राहू शकू. We returned Mumbai a few days before school reopened. शाळा सुरू होण्याच्या काही दिवस आधी आम्ही मुंबईत परतलो.
