A conversation about improving the college uniform
Soham and Kruti talk about how uncomfortable and impractical their college uniform is. They decide to gather support from other students and bring the issue to the student council, hoping to make the uniform more comfortable and better suited for everyone.
Soham: What do you think about our college uniform?Kruti: Honestly, I have mixed feelings about it. On one hand, it’s nice not having to worry about what to wear every day, but on the other hand, the uniform itself isn’t that comfortable.
Soham: Yeah, I get that. The fabric is pretty stiff, especially in the summer. It feels like it doesn’t breathe at all, and by the end of the day, I’m always sweating.
Kruti: Same here! And the design is so basic. I wish they could’ve chosen something a bit more stylish or at least more comfortable. The girls’ uniform is also not that practical; the skirt length is awkward, and the material is too heavy.
Soham: Exactly. And it’s frustrating how strict they are about the uniform code, even when it’s really hot outside. They should at least allow us to make small adjustments, like rolling up our sleeves or wearing lighter shoes.
Kruti: I agree. And don’t even get me started on the quality. After a few washes, the color fades and the fabric starts to wear out, but we’re expected to keep it looking neat and tidy all the time.
Soham: That’s true. It would be nice if they allowed some flexibility, like different options for summer and winter, or even just better quality uniforms that last longer.
Kruti: Absolutely. I think they could consider updating the design and material to something more modern and comfortable. A lot of students would appreciate that.
Soham: Maybe we should bring this up with the student council or suggest a survey to see what everyone else thinks. If enough people feel the same way, they might consider making some changes.
Kruti: That’s a good idea. I think a lot of students would support that. We’re the ones wearing the uniform every day, so our comfort should matter.
Soham: Exactly. It doesn’t have to be a drastic change—just something that makes the uniform more practical and comfortable for everyone.
Kruti: Agreed. Let’s talk to a few more people and see if we can get a discussion going. It’s worth a shot.
Soham: Definitely. A small change could make a big difference in how we feel throughout the day. Let’s get started on this!
