 The Whispering Woods

     In a small village surrounded by dense, ancient woods, locals often spoke of the "Whispering Woods." It was said that anyone who entered the woods at night would hear eerie whispers, the voices of spirits trapped within the trees. One night, a skeptical young man named Som decided to debunk the myth and ventured into the forest armed with a flashlight.
     As he walked deeper into the woods, the whispers began. At first, they were faint, like leaves rustling in the wind. But soon, they grew louder and clearer, murmuring his name and pleading for help. Som's bravado faltered, and he felt an icy chill run down his spine. He stumbled upon an old, overgrown graveyard, realizing the voices were coming from the restless spirits buried there.
     Terrified, Som tried to leave, but the path seemed to twist and turn, trapping him in the forest. Desperate, he listened closely to the whispers and followed their guidance. The spirits led him to a hidden exit, and as he stepped out of the woods, the whispers ceased. Som never spoke of the incident, but the village noticed he no longer mocked the tales of the Whispering Woods.
