Library Rules & Book Return Dates

To ensure the smooth functioning of our school library, all teachers and students are requested to follow the library rules and return books on time.

Library Rules:
📖 Library Timings: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (Monday to Saturday)
📚 Book Borrowing Limit:
• Students: Maximum 2 books for 14 days
• Teachers: Maximum 4 books for 30 days
🔖 Renewals: Books can be renewed once if no other student has requested them.
🚫 Late Fees: ₹5 per day will be charged for overdue books.
🛑 Damage/Loss: Any lost or damaged book must be replaced or paid for.
🔇 Silence Must Be Maintained: Students must maintain discipline and avoid talking inside the library.
📌 Personal Belongings: Bags and personal books are not allowed inside the library.

Book Return Dates:
✔ Students must return all borrowed books by 10th March 2025 (before the final exams).
✔ Teachers must return all books by 20th April 2025 (before the academic session ends).
✔ Late submission will result in fines as per library rules.

Instructions:
📌 Teachers must write this notice on the classroom board and instruct students to note it down in their diaries.
📌 Class teachers should remind students of book return deadlines.
