Simple Past with Simple Past Tense – Kitchen Chores

The kitchen is a place where many activities happen one after the other—washing, chopping, cooking, and serving. When we talk about such actions that occurred in the past, one after the other, we use the Simple Past Tense for both actions.

Explanation

When two actions happened one after the other in the past, both verbs are used in the Simple Past Tense. जेव्हा भूतकाळात दोन क्रिया एकामागोमाग घडतात, तेव्हा त्या दोन्हींसाठी Simple Past Tense वापरला जातो. For example, first we chop vegetables, and then we cook them. उदाहरणार्थ, आपण आधी भाज्या चिरतो आणि मग भाजी शिजवतो.
