Prepositions “To” and “At”

Many English learners confuse to and at because both can refer to places.

However, the main difference is:
• To is used for movement or direction towards a place.
• At is used for a specific location, position, or point in time.

1. To - Meaning & Use:
Shows movement from one place to another or the direction of an action.

Examples:
• I am going to the market.
मी बाजारात जात आहे.
• She walked to the park.
ती बागेत चालत गेली.
• He gave the book to me.

2. At - Meaning & Use:
Refers to a specific place, point, or event where something is located or happens.

Examples:

• He is good at singing.
तो गायनात चांगला आहे.
