short-speech-on-independence-day-4

Good morning respected Principal, teachers, and my dear friends,
Today, we have gathered here to celebrate our 78th Independence Day. This is a proud moment for every Indian. On 15th August 1947, after a long struggle and countless sacrifices, our country became free from British rule.

This freedom was not easy — it came after years of hard work, unity, and courage shown by our leaders and freedom fighters like Mahatma Gandhi, Jawaharlal Nehru, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, Rani Laxmibai, and many others. Independence Day is not only a day to remember our past but also a day to think about our future.

We must protect our freedom, respect our Constitution, and work for the progress of our nation. Every small action — whether it’s keeping our surroundings clean, helping others, or studying sincerely — can make a big difference.

Let us take inspiration from our heroes and promise to always love and serve our motherland. Together, we can make India stronger, cleaner, and more developed.
Jai Hind!
