The preposition on is used to show position, time, subjects, transport, occasions, and many other relations. It tells us where, when, or how something happens.
1. Position (स्थान)👉 Shows something is touching a surface.
The book is on the table.
पुस्तक टेबलावर आहे.
2. Days & Dates (दिवस व तारखा)
👉 Used with days and specific dates.
She was born on Monday.
ती सोमवारला जन्मली.
The meeting is on 5th June.
बैठक ५ जूनला आहे.
3. Devices (साधने)
👉 Used when using machines or gadgets.
He is talking on the phone.
तो फोनवर बोलत आहे.
I watched the movie on TV.
मी चित्रपट टीव्हीवर पाहिला.
4. Topics (विषय)
👉 Shows subject of talk or study.
She gave a speech on environment.

5. Dependence / Basis (आधार)
👉 Shows support or foundation. Success depends on hard work.

6. Transport (प्रवास)
👉 Used with bus, train, plane, ship.

👉 Shows something is operating.
