A PLEASURE TRIP एक आनंददायक सहल

        My family decided to go on a pleasure trip to Matheran. माझ्या कुटुंबाने माथेरानच्या आनंददायक सहलीला जायचे ठरवले. We booked the tickets at Dadar station. आम्ही दादर स्टेशनवर तिकीट काढले. Reservations had been made in the Mihir Hotel at Matheran a few days earlier. माथेरान येथील मिहीर हॉटेलमध्ये काही दिवसांपूर्वीच आरक्षण करण्यात आले होते. We had four days continuous holidays. आम्हाला चार दिवस सलग सुट्ट्या होत्या. We were sure there wouldn't be a great rush at the hill-station in December. डिसेंबरमध्ये हिल-स्टेशनवर फारशी गर्दी होणार नाही याची आम्हाला खात्री होती.

          We left by Karjat local at seven in the morning on 24th December. २४ डिसेंबर रोजी सकाळी सात वाजता कर्जत लोकलने निघालो. We got down at Neral by 10. आम्ही नेरळला १० वाजता उतरलो. At Neral we boarded the little train which was to take us to Matheran. नेरळला आम्ही माथेरानला जाणार्‍या छोट्या ट्रेनमध्ये चढलो. We reached there by 10.30. आम्ही तिथे पोहोचलो १०.३० पर्यंत. We were travelling light and we needed no coolie to carry our luggage to the Mihir Hotel. आम्ही कमी सामान घेतले होते त्यामुळे आम्हाला आमचे सामान मिहिर हॉटेलमध्ये नेण्यासाठी कुलीची गरज नव्हती.

          We unpacked, had a wash, dressed and went out for a stroll. आम्ही आमचे सामान काढले, आंघोळ केली, कपडे घातले आणि बाहेर फेरफटका मारायला गेलो. At 2'o clock we had our lunch. 2 वाजता आमचे दुपारचे जेवण झाले. We rested for some time and then left again for sight-seeing. आम्ही काही वेळ विश्रांती घेतली आणि पुन्हा प्रेक्षणीय स्थळे बघण्यासाठी निघालो. We went to the A-1 point. आम्ही A-1 पॉइंटवर गेलो. The scene of the deep valleys and the distant horizon was really beautiful. खोल दऱ्या आणि दूरच्या क्षितिजाचे दृश्य खरोखरच सुंदर होते. We had light refreshment on that point. त्या ठिकाणी आम्ही हलकासा नाश्ता केला. We sang songs. आम्ही गाणी गायली. Then we returned on horse-back. मग आम्ही घोड्यावरून परतलो.  This ride was a novel experience for us. ही राइड आमच्यासाठी एक अभिनव अनुभव होता. At night we played cards. रात्री आम्ही पत्ते खेळलो.

            Next day, after breakfast we again went on a sight-seeing trip. दुसऱ्या दिवशी, नाश्ता करून आम्ही पुन्हा फिरायला प्रेक्षणीय स्थळे बघण्यासाठी निघालो. We walked to different points. आम्ही वेगवेगळ्या ठिकाणी गेलो. In the afternoon, we played cricket. दुपारी आम्ही क्रिकेट खेळलो. That night we slept after dinner. त्या रात्री आम्ही जेवण करून झोपलो.

            The next morning, after breakfast we again went on a sight-seeing trip. दुसऱ्या दिवशी सकाळी नाश्ता करून आम्ही पुन्हा फिरायला प्रेक्षणीय स्थळे बघण्यासाठी निघालो. We purchased toys. आम्ही खेळणी खरेदी केली. In the evening we played badminton. संध्याकाळी आम्ही बॅडमिंटन खेळलो.

            The next morning, we left Matheran for Mumbai after a stay of three days. तीन दिवसांच्या मुक्कामानंतर दुसऱ्या दिवशी सकाळी आम्ही माथेरानहून मुंबईला निघालो.  This pleasure trip greatly refreshed our minds. या आनंददायक सहलीने आमच्या मनाला खूप ताजेतवाने केले.
