Dear Mummy, प्रिय आई,

     I miss you and Daddy and little chinky terribly. मला तुझी आणि बाबा आणि लहान चिंकीची खूप आठवण येते. However, it's not so bad here, I am beginning to adjust. तथापि, येथे  इतके वाईट नाही, मी तडजोड करण्यास सुरवात केली आहे. I think I shall like my boarding school after all. मला वाटते की मला माझी बोर्डिंग स्कूल आवडेल. 

     The Hostel Warden is a very affable person and he soon put all of us ease on our arrival. वसतिगृह वॉर्डन एक अतिशय प्रेमळ व्यक्ती आहे आणि त्यांनी लवकरच आम्हा सर्वांची सोय केली. We were shown our respective rooms. आम्हाला आपापल्या खोल्या दाखविण्यात आल्या. I have three room-mates. माझे तीन रूम-मेटस आहेत. They are good girls. त्या चांगल्या मुली आहेत. Mitula Raje is from Dapoli. मितुला राजेे ही  दापोलीची आहे. Nishali is from Ratnagiri. निशाली मूळची रत्नागिरीची आहे. Parnika is from Satara. पर्णिका ही साताऱ्याची आहे. Parnika is a jolly fellow. पर्णिका एक आनंदी सहकारी आहे. Nishali is very studious. निशाली खूप अभ्यासू आहे.  

     Ours is a very busy schedule. आमचे वेळापत्रक खूप व्यस्त आहे. We rise at 5 a.m. and bathe. आम्ही पहाटे ५ वाजता उठतो आणि आंघोळ करतो. Then we have a common prayer in the assembly hall. मग आमची सभागृहात एक सामुहिक प्रार्थना असते. Then we go to our rooms for study. मग आम्ही अभ्यासासाठी आमच्या खोलीत जातो. We have our breakfast at 7 a.m. आम्ही सकाळी ७ वाजता नाश्ता करतो. Our school building is near to the hostel. आमच्या शाळेची इमारत वसतिगृहाजवळ आहे. School begins at 8.30 a.m. and is over at 4.30 p.m. शाळा सकाळी 8.30 वाजता सुरू होते आणि 4.30 वाजता संपते. Lunch is served in the mess at 12 p.m. दुपारी १२ वाजता मेसमध्ये जेवण दिले जाते. We play games from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. आम्ही संध्याकाळी ५ वाजल्यापासून संध्याकाळी 6 पर्यंत खेळ खेळतो.  Then we study till 8 p.m. मग आम्ही रात्री ८ पर्यंत अभ्यास करतो. Then we go for dinner and relax till it is time to go to bed. मग आम्ही जेवायला जातो आणि झोपायची वेळ होईपर्यंत आराम करतो. Lights are off at 10 p.m. रात्री 10 वाजता दिवे बंद होतात.

     It is a well- planned schedule and leaves us plenty of time for study as well as play and relaxation. हे एक सुनियोजित वेळापत्रक आहे आणि आम्हाला अभ्यासासाठी तसेच खेळण्यासाठी आणि विश्रांतीसाठी भरपूर वेळ देते. The sports facilities here are excellent. येथील क्रीडा सुविधा उत्तम आहेत. I have enrolled myself for badminton and chess. मी बॅडमिंटन आणि बुद्धिबळासाठी नाव नोंदवले आहे.  Sometimes I become very sad. कधीकधी मी खूप दुःखी होते. But I think I shall get over this feeling soon. पण मला वाटते की मी लवकरच या भावनांवर मात करेन. You are certainly not to worry. तुम्ही नक्कीच काळजी करू नका. Say my regards to Daddy and give my love to little chinki. बाबांना माझा नमस्कार सांग आणि लहान चिंकीला माझे प्रेम दे. Lots of love to you also. तुला पण खूप खूप प्रेम.
