Write a letter to your neighbour who keeps his television set tuned to a high pitch. Request him tactfully to lower the volume as it disturbs you while you are studying for the examination.  तुमच्या शेजाऱ्याला एक पत्र लिहा जो त्याचा टेलिव्हिजन संच मोठ्या आवाजात ठेवतो. तुम्ही परीक्षेचा अभ्यास करत असताना तुम्हाला त्रास होत असल्याने आवाज कमी करण्यासाठी त्याला कुशलतेने विनंती करा.

Dear Mr. Sakhale,

     I am really very sorry to have to write this letter to you. तुम्हाला हे पत्र लिहावे लागल्याने मला खूप वाईट वाटत आहे.  I am sure, however, that you will not misunderstand me.  तथापि, मला खात्री आहे की तुमचा माझ्या बाबतीत गैरसमज होणार नाही.  You have always been a very kind, considerate neighbour to us.  तुम्ही आमच्यासाठी नेहमीच दयाळू, विचारशील शेजारी आहात.  

     As you are possibly aware, I am busy preparing myself for the coming annual examination.  तुम्हाला माहिती असेलच की, मी येत्या वार्षिक परीक्षेची तयारी करण्यात व्यस्त आहे.  The loud noise of your TV disturbs me and I find it difficult to concentrate on studies.  तुमच्या टीव्हीचा मोठा आवाज मला अस्वस्थ करतो आणि मला अभ्यासावर लक्ष केंद्रित करणे कठीण जाते.  Perhaps you may not be aware of this when you are watching TV, especially during the late hours at night. विशेषत: रात्री उशिरापर्यंत तुम्ही टीव्ही पाहताना कदाचित तुम्हाला याची जाणीव नसेल.  I will be greatly obliged if you could kindly instruct your family members to tone down the volume of the TV set.  जर तुम्ही तुमच्या कुटुंबातील सदस्यांना टीव्ही सेटचा आवाज कमी करण्यास सांगू शकलात तर मी खूप आभारी आहे.  I am sure you will appreciate my problem and act accordingly.  तुम्ही माझी समस्या समजून घ्याल आणि त्यानुसार वागाल.  

     I am really sorry if you feel offended by this note, but let me assure you once again that no offence is intended.  या नोटमुळे तुमचे मन दुखावले असेल तर मी खरोखर दिलगीर आहे, परंतु मी तुम्हाला पुन्हा एकदा खात्री देतो की दुखावणे हा हेतू नाही.  This is just a friendly request.  ही फक्त एक मैत्रीपूर्ण विनंती आहे.
