PREPOSITIONS -'ON', 'AT', 'IN' WITH REFERENCE TO TIME - 1

We may think of time in three ways:

A) Days : Use 'On'

     Example:

     1. I shall meet you on Sunday. मी तुला रविवारी भेटेन.

     2. They will bring mangoes on Saturday. ते शनिवारी आंबे आणतील.

B) Exact time : Use 'At'

     Examples:

     1. He returned home at nine o' clock. तो नऊ वाजता घरी परतला.

     2. The lecture will start at 7 o' clock. लेक्चर सात वाजता सुरू होईल.

C) Periods | Months | Years : Use 'In'

     Examples:

     1. She went for a stroll in the evening. ती संध्याकाळी फेरफटका मारायला गेली.

     2. Shree was born in 2003. श्री 2003 मध्ये जन्मली.
