MY SCHOOL

     The name of my school is Adarsh High School. It is a very big and well-known school. It has the pre-primary, primary and secondary sections.

     My school is a building shaped like 'L'. It has three storeys. In the longer side of the building are the classrooms for the pre-primary and primary students. There are twenty four classrooms in this part of the building. They are big and airy, painted in cheerful colours. The desks and the benches too are brightly coloured. There are many drawings and charts on the walls.

     My classroom is on the second floor. The school office and the teacher's room are near the entrance of the building. There is a large library on the ground floor. Our science lab is on the first floor.

     Right in front of the building is a large playground. Here we have our assembly. We play games there. Our Sports Day and Annual Day functions are held on this ground. In one corner of this ground there are slides and swings for the primary students.

     I am very proud of my school. We have a wonderful Principal and excellent teachers. I enjoy going to school every day.
