FAMILIAR PERSONS - A HOSPITAL NURSE

     The hospital nurse is a familiar figure. रुग्णालयातील परिचारिका ही एक परिचित व्यक्ती आहे. She is a very hard-working woman. ती खूप मेहनती स्त्री आहे. She gets up at about six. ती सहा वाजता उठते. She rushes through her morning routine. ती तिच्या सकाळच्या नित्यक्रमात धावत असते. At seven she is ready to set out for her hospital. सात वाजता ती तिच्या हॉस्पिटलला जाण्यासाठी तयार असते.

     She steps into the hospital at seven thirty. ती साडेसात वाजता हॉस्पिटलमध्ये येते. She goes to her dressing room. ती तिच्या ड्रेसिंग रूममध्ये जाते. She comes out in her spotless white uniform. ती तिच्या  पांढर्‍या शुभ्र गणवेशात बाहेर येते. Then she takes charge of her work. मग ती तिच्या कामाची जबाबदारी घेते. She visits the patients under her care. ती तिच्या देखरेखीखाली असलेल्या रुग्णांना भेटते. She does sponging. ती स्पंजिंग करते. She takes their pulse and temperature and then writes up the progress charts. ती त्यांची नाडी मोजते आणि तापमान घेते आणि नंतर प्रोग्रेस चार्ट लिहिते. She gives them injections. ती त्यांना इंजेक्शन देते. She dresses their wounds and bandages them after applying the necessary ointment. ती त्यांच्या जखमेवर मलमपट्टी करते आणि आवश्यक मलम लावल्यानंतर मलमपट्टी करते. She patiently listens to their needs and complaints and tries her best to help them. ती त्यांच्या गरजा आणि तक्रारी धीराने ऐकते आणि त्यांना मदत करण्याचा सर्वतोपरी प्रयत्न करते. 

     She hardly gets any rest. तिला क्वचितच विश्रांती मिळते. We find her always on her feet, always doing something while on duty. आम्ही तिला नेहमी पायी फिरताना, ड्युटीवर असताना नेहमी काहीतरी करत असताना पाहतो. She has to put up with doctors, surgeons and grumbling patients. तिला डॉक्टर, सर्जन आणि कुरकुरणारे रुग्ण यांना सहन करावे लागते. Still she carries out her duties and responsibilities with patience and calmness. तरीही ती तिची कर्तव्ये आणि जबाबदाऱ्या संयमाने आणि शांततेने पार पाडते. She respects her superiors. ती तिच्या वरिष्ठांचा आदर करते. She smiles at her patients and gives them courage. ती तिच्या रुग्णांकडे पाहून हसते आणि त्यांना धीर देते. When her eight hour shift is over she changes into her home clothes and goes home. तिची आठ तासांची शिफ्ट संपल्यावर ती तिचे घरचे कपडे बदलते आणि घरी जाते. Her kind behaviour for the patients helps them in a big way. रुग्णांबद्दलची तिचे दयाळू वर्तन त्यांना खूप मदत करते. They gain confidence and recover quickly. त्यांना आत्मविश्वास मिळतो आणि लवकर बरे होतात.
