Questions can begin with ➡️

🎯 Interrogative Pronouns : Who, Whose, Whom, What, Which

🎯 Interrogative Adjectives : What colour, Which child, Whose turn

🎯 Interrogative Adverbs : When, Where, Why, How, How long, How often

Question words and their functions ➡️

🎯 Whom - asking what or which person or people (object)

🎯 Whose - asking about the ownership

🎯 Why - asking for reason, asking what....for

🎯 What - asking for information about something

🎯 When - asking about time

🎯 Where - asking in or at what place or position

🎯 Which - asking about choice

🎯 Who - asking about what or which person or people

🎯 How - asking about manner

🎯 Put the question mark at the end of 'Wh' questions.

🎯 While framing 'Wh' question form of a sentence follows -

🎯 Wh question word + Helping Verb / Main Verb + Subject + Main Verb + Object / Complement

🎯 Examples ➡️ 1. Nisha broke the glass. ➡️ Who broke the glass?

Who - Question word, broke - Main Verb, the glass - Object

2.  Her books are on the table.

➡️ Where are her books? ➡️ Whose books are on the table?

3. Nimi ran quickly to college.

➡️ How did Nimi run to college? ➡️ Who ran quickly to college?

4. Triva went to the market to buy Kurtis. ➡️ Why did Triva go to the market?

➡️ Where did Triva go to buy Kurtis? ➡️ Who went to the market to buy Kurtis ?

5. Shambhavi's birthday is on 10th September.

➡️ When is Shambhavi's birthday? ➡️ Whose birthday is on 10th September?

6. Pruthvi was lighting the candles.

➡️ Who was lighting the candles? ➡️ What was Pruthvi lighting?
