Examine the following sentence -

Mrudul teased Shravan. 

What is the relation of the Noun Shravan to the Verb teased?

The Noun Shravan stands as the Object of the Verb teased.

When the Noun Shravan stands as the Object of a Verb, it is said to be in the Objective Case. 

Any Noun or Pronoun that is the Object of a Verb is said to be in the Objective Case, as,

1. The dog bit Hima. (Whom did the dog bite? - Hima)

2. Jeet broke the plate. (What did Jeet break? - the plate)
