A MEMORABLE BIRTHDAY

                                             

     It was my birthday last Sunday and I decided to spend the day with my friends at Phoenix mall. रविवारी माझा वाढदिवस होता आणि मैत्रिणी सोबत मी फिनिक्स मॉलमध्ये दिवस घालवायचे ठरवले.

We met at the mall at the planned time and then decided to watch a movie. ठरलेल्या वेळी आम्ही मॉलमध्ये भेटलो आणि मग चित्रपट पाहायला जायचे ठरवले. As we were hungry after watching the movie, we decided to eat at the food court. चित्रपट पाहिल्यानंतर, भूक लागल्याने आम्ही फूड कोर्टवर खायचे ठरवले. As I was entering the food court, my mobile phone rang. फूड कोर्टमध्ये प्रवेश करत असतानाच माझा मोबाईल वाजला. It was a call from my uncle to wish me. मला शुभेच्छा देण्यासाठी माझ्या काकांचा फोन होता. After the conversation, I put the mobile back into my purse. संभाषण झाल्यावर मी मोबाईल परत माझ्या पर्समध्ये ठेवला. In the midst of having a great conversation while waiting for our order, there was another call from my cousin. आमच्या ऑर्डरची वाट पाहत असताना खूप छान संभाषण होत असताना, माझ्या चुलत बहिणीचा आणखी एक फोन आला. We spoke for about two minutes and then I put the mobile down on the counter in order to pick up the tray of food that was now ready for us. आम्ही जवळपास दोन मिनिटे बोललो आणि मग आमच्यासाठी तयार असलेला खाण्याचा ट्रे उचलण्यासाठी मी मोबाईल काउंटरवर ठेवला. I forgot to pick up my mobile. मी माझा मोबाईल उचलायला विसरले. We enjoyed our meal and then went home feeling very happy. आम्ही आमच्या जेवणाचा आस्वाद घेतला आणि मग खूप आनंदी होऊन घरी निघालो. As soon as I reached home, my mother told me that one of my friends from the neighbouring building had come to wish me while I was away. मी घरी पोहोचताच माझ्या आईने मला सांगितले की मी बाहेर असताना शेजारच्या इमारतीतील माझी एक मैत्रीण मला शुभेच्छा देण्यासाठी आली होती. I immediately searched for my mobile in my purse to thank her but it was not there. तिचे आभार मानण्यासाठी मी लगेच पर्स मध्ये माझा मोबाईल शोधला पण त्यात तो नव्हता. It was missing. तो गायब होता. I realized that I had forgotten it somewhere but could not recollect where. कुठेतरी विसरलेय याची मला जाणीव झाली पण कुठे ते आठवत नव्हते. 

     My father suggested that we go back to every place that I had visited and search for my mobile. माझ्या वडिलांनी सुचवले की मी भेट दिलेल्या प्रत्येक ठिकाणी परत जावे आणि माझा मोबाईल शोधावा. At the mall, I suspected that I had left the mobile at the food counter so I rushed there first. मॉलमध्ये, फूड काउंटरवर मोबाईल सोडला की काय अशी शंका आली म्हणून मी प्रथम तिकडे धाव घेतली. I found my mobile at the same place. त्याच ठिकाणी मला माझा मोबाईल सापडला.
