FUNFAIR AT R. J. T. HIGH SCHOOL 

Saturday,  the 18th December : Our school had organized a 'Fun Fair' for raising money to offer scholarship for needy and deserving students. आमच्या शाळेने गरजू आणि पात्र विद्यार्थ्यांना शिष्यवृत्ती देण्यासाठी पैसे गोळा करण्यासाठी 'फन फेअर' आयोजित केले होते. It was a Saturday. तो शनिवार होता. Students and parents began to arrive from 9 o'clock. नऊ वाजल्यापासून विद्यार्थी व पालक येण्यास सुरुवात झाली. There was an encouraging atmosphere. तेथे उत्साहवर्धक वातावरण होते. We really could pull a big crowd at the funfair. आम्ही खरोखरच फनफेअरमध्ये मोठी गर्दी खेचू शकलो. There were stalls of snacks, fruits, ice-cream,  cold drinks and coffee. तेथे फराळ, फळे, आईस्क्रीम, कोल्ड्रिंक्स आणि कॉफीचे स्टॉल होते. There were consumer goods, handicraft articles made by our students, some games and sports material. तेथे ग्राहकोपयोगी वस्तू, आमच्या विद्यार्थ्यांनी बनवलेल्या हस्तकला वस्तू आणि काही खेळ आणि क्रीडा साहित्य देखील होते. 

     Shooting at inflated balloons by an airgun was a favourite sport. एअरगनद्वारे फुगलेल्या फुग्यांवर शूट करणे हा एक आवडता खेळ होता. A pizza stall had a good sale. पिझ्झा स्टॉलवर चांगली विक्री झाली. Paper flowers, photo frames and greeting cards attracted many. कागदी फुले, फोटो फ्रेम्स आणि ग्रीटिंग कार्ड्सनी अनेकांना आकर्षित केले. Our students were collecting money. आमचे विद्यार्थी पैसे गोळा करत होते. Mrs. Kolambkar madam had prepared special Malvani cuisines. सौ.कोळंबकर मॅडमनी खास मालवणी पदार्थ बनवले होते. Tasty, delicious vada chicken was in great demand. चविष्ट, रुचकर वडा चिकनला मोठी मागणी होती. 

     It was all over about 10 pm. रात्री दहाच्या सुमारास सर्व काही संपले. It was a grand success and we could earn about twenty thousand rupees for our needy and deserving students. हे एक मोठे यश होते आणि आम्ही आमच्या गरजू आणि पात्र विद्यार्थ्यांसाठी सुमारे वीस हजार रुपये कमवू शकलो. We handed over the money to our Principal. आम्ही आमच्या मुख्याध्यापकांना पैसे दिले.
