There are many beautiful birds in the nature. निसर्गात अनेक सुंदर पक्षी आहेत. I like all birds. मला सर्व पक्षी आवडतात. But the Peacock is my favourite bird. पण मोर हा माझा आवडता पक्षी आहे. It is our national bird. तो आपला राष्ट्रीय पक्षी आहे. It is a large and splendid bird. हा एक मोठा आणि भव्य पक्षी आहे. It has a long neck. त्याची मान लांब असते. It has a fine crest on its head. त्याच्या डोक्यावर एक बारीक तुरा असतो. It has keen eyesight and hearing. त्याला तीव्र दृष्टी आणि श्रवण शक्ती असते. The peacock has a long tail. मोराची शेपटी लांब असते. I like its colurful feathers. मला त्याची रंगीबेरंगी पिसे आवडतात. The feathers on the back are green. पाठीवरची पिसे हिरवी असतात. Its head, neck and breast are blue. त्याचे डोके, मान आणि छाती निळी असते. Each feather has a heart-shaped spot ringed with blue, green, gold and brown. प्रत्येक पंखावर निळा, हिरवा, सोनेरी आणि तपकिरी रंगाने गोलाकार हृदयाच्या आकाराचा स्पॉट असतो. The peacock spreads its tail like a fan. मोर पंख्याप्रमाणे शेपूट पसरवतो. It dances and shrieks when it starts raining. पाऊस सुरू झाला की तो नाचतो आणि ओरडतो. Its spread-out tail looks very beautiful. त्याची पसरलेली शेपटी अतिशय सुंदर दिसते.
Although the peacock can not fly very high, it can run fast. मोर फार उंच उडू शकत नसला तरी तो वेगाने धावू शकतो. It eats grains and worms in the fields. तो शेतातील धान्य आणि किडे खातो. Its pictures are used in paintings, sculpture, textiles and handicrafts. त्याची चित्रे चित्रे, शिल्पकला, कापड आणि हस्तकला मध्ये वापरली जातात. It has a special place in dances, songs and stories. नृत्ये, गीते आणि कथांमध्ये याला विशेष स्थान आहे.
It is a great joy to watch the peacock dancing in the rain. पावसात मोराला नाचताना पाहणे हा मोठा आनंद असतो. Once I found its feather while strolling in the garden. एकदा बागेत फिरताना मला त्याचा पंख सापडला. I kept it in the showcase. मी ते शोकेसमध्ये ठेवले.
