A LETTER TO YOUR MOTHER FROM THE CAMP SITE

My dear Mother,

      I am fine and hope everyone is in good health. We arrived here safe and sound last evening. Forty of us and 20 Adivasi children are attending this college camp. We had a number of difficulties in preparing our first meal last night. A powerful wind was blowing, so it took long for us to light the fire. In addition, there weren't enough pots or pans. The Adivasi children cooked their delicious food.

     The campfire program was a grand success. I contributed a mimicry item to entertain my friends. The Adivasi children performed their folk dance. We also joined in their dance. Our stay here is most enjoyable. I'll probably return home on the evening of 27 December, filled with unforgettable memories and a renewed appreciation for nature's beauty. Thank you for instilling in me a love for exploration and adventure. Looking forward to sharing more stories with you when I'm back.
