INFORMAL LETTER - ABOUT YOUR PLANS AFTER PASSING SSC EXAMINATION

A letter to your father informing him about your plans after passing the SSC examination.

Dear Dad,

     I am studying hard for my ssc exam. At the same time, I keep thinking of what I shall do after the exams are over. Last night, I gave it some serious thought and all of a sudden, my mind was full of plans. As I have some free time, I have decided to acquaint you with my thought and ideas. Perhaps you will feel that I am counting my chickens before they hatch, for I have yet to get through the ssc. However, I feel confident of coming out with flying colours. I intend to be a dentist, and start my own practice.

     I know that it is a pretty long course of 5 years' duration after the HSC but after passing my HSC, I plan to take up a part-time job in a hospital to gain some experience and meet my expenses.

     I am sure you will approve of my plan. However, I hope we can talk this matter over in detail when we meet during the vacation.

     I am well prepared for the coming examination and expect a high percentage of marks.
