Dear Mama,

     I hope you are doing well. I am writing to you because I am facing a problem that I cannot speak to Mummy or Daddy about. You are the only person I can turn to for advice. The thing is that my best friend Piyush has joined a gang of boys in our college who are up to no good. They smoke, and most of the time they tease the girls passing by.

     The worst thing is that Piyush has started smoking too and he asks me for money. Much of my pocket money goes on his cigarettes. I cannot refuse him because he begs and pleads.Sometimes, he threatens that he will tell Mummy and Daddy that I also smoke. The fact is that I haven't touched a cigarette so far, and never will. 

     I don't know what to do. Should I tell his parents? If I do, he will beat me up. How do I stop giving him money? By giving him money, I am only encouraging his habit, which I don't want to do. Also, I want him to stop smoking. However, he doesn't listen to me. He has become very weak.
