Proverb: "Actions speak louder than words."
Purva and Shree were best friends who lived next door to each other. One day, Shree told Purva, "I'll always be there for you no matter what happens. You can count on me."
A few weeks later, Purva faced a difficult situation and needed Shree's help. She called Shree and explained the problem, hoping Shree would keep her promise. However, Shree was too busy with her own life and couldn't make time for Purva.
Feeling disappointed, Purva remembered the saying, "Actions speak louder than words." She realized that Shree's words of support didn't mean much if they weren't backed up by actions.
Purva decided to reach out to another friend, Nihar, who listened to her problem, offered practical advice, and even spent time helping her resolve the issue. Purva appreciated Nihar's actions more than Shree's empty promises.
From then on, Purva understood the importance of actions over mere words. She valued friends who showed their support through their actions rather than just saying they would be there.
