Understanding Indirect Speech in Simple Present Tense

When we report what someone is saying now, we use Indirect Speech in the Simple Present Tense. These sentences usually describe regular or habitual actions. This is helpful for talking about daily routines, like kitchen chores, in a natural way.

Mother says, "I cook dinner every evening."
→ Mother says that she cooks dinner every evening.
आई म्हणते की ती दररोज संध्याकाळी जेवण बनवते.

She says, "I wash the vegetables before cooking."
