Momo the Clever Cat

This is a story about Momo, a smart cat who helped her village. ही मोमो नावाच्या हुशार मांजरीची गोष्ट आहे, जिने आपल्या गावाची मदत केली.

     Momo the cat lived in a small village near the hills. मोमो मांजर टेकड्यांच्या जवळ असलेल्या छोट्या गावात राहत होती. She was loved by all because she was kind and clever. ती प्रेमळ आणि हुशार असल्यामुळे सगळ्यांना तिची खूप आवड होती. Every day, she would sit in the sun and watch the birds fly. ती रोज ऊन खात बसायची आणि पक्षी उडताना पाहायची. But one day, something strange started happening in the village. पण एक दिवस गावात काहीतरी विचित्र घडू लागले.

     The villagers noticed that their food grains were missing. गावकऱ्यांच्या लक्षात आलं की त्यांचं धान्य गायब होत आहे. Sacks were torn and grains were scattered everywhere. गोणपाट फाटलेले होते आणि धान्य सर्वत्र पसरलेले होते. Everyone was worried and didn't know what to do. सगळे चिंतेत होते आणि काय करावे हे समजत नव्हते. Momo decided to find out what was going on. मोमोने ठरवलं की काय चालले आहे ते शोधून काढायचं.

     She followed some tiny footprints in the mud. तिने मातीतील काही लहान पावलांचे ठसे पाहून पाठलाग केला. They led her to a big hole behind the old barn. ते तिला जुन्या गोठ्याच्या मागील एका मोठ्या भुयाराकडे घेऊन गेले. Inside, she saw many mice eating the stolen grain. आत तिला खूप सारे उंदीर चोरलेले धान्य खाताना दिसले. Momo quietly went back to tell the villagers. मोमो शांतपणे परत गेली आणि गावकऱ्यांना सांगितले.

     The villagers came together and blocked the hole. गावकऱ्यांनी एकत्र येऊन ते भुयार बुजवले. They thanked Momo for saving their food. त्यांनी मोमोचे आभार मानले की तिने धान्य वाचवले. From that day, Momo was not just a cat—she was a hero. त्या दिवसापासून मोमो फक्त मांजर नव्हती—ती एक नायिका होती. Everyone in the village loved her even more. गावातले सगळे तिला आणखी जास्त प्रेम करू लागले.
