Lalu Joins the Jungle Sports Day – लालूचा जंगलातील खेळामध्ये सहभाग

     Months passed, and Lalu was no longer that lazy lion. काही महिने गेले, आणि लालू आता तो आळशी सिंह राहिला नव्हता. He walked every day, did a few stretches, and even hunted on his own. तो दररोज चालायला जायचा, थोडेसे व्यायाम करायचा, आणि स्वतः शिकार करायचा.
     One day, Monkey came running with a poster. एके दिवशी माकड धावत आले आणि एक फलक आणला.
“Jungle Sports Day! Everyone must join!”
“जंगल खेळ महोत्सव! प्रत्येकाने भाग घ्यायचा!”
     Lalu smiled, “Can I join too?” लालू हसत म्हणाला, “मीही भाग घेऊ शकतो का?” Monkey: “Of course! There’s a nap race too… just for you!” माकड: “नक्कीच! झोपण्याची शर्यतसुद्धा आहे... खास तुझ्यासाठी!” Everyone laughed and cheered Lalu on. सगळे हसले आणि लालूला प्रोत्साहन दिले.
     On the big day, animals gathered near the river. मोठ्या दिवशी, प्राणी नदीकिनारी जमा झाले.
There were many events – running, jumping, leaf balancing, and even coconut bowling! खूप स्पर्धा होत्या – धावणे, उडी मारणे, पानावर तोल सांभाळणे, आणि खोबऱ्याची बॉलिंग! Lalu entered the slow running race. लालूने "संथ धावण्याची शर्यत" मध्ये भाग घेतला. He ran slowly… but steadily. तो हळू धावला... पण सातत्याने.
     In the end, he came third – and got a medal made of mango! शेवटी तो तिसरा आला – आणि त्याला आंब्यापासून बनवलेलं पदक मिळालं!
Everyone clapped and shouted, “Lalu! Lalu!”
सगळ्यांनी टाळ्या वाजवल्या आणि ओरडले, “लालू! लालू!”
     Lalu bowed and said, “Hard work tastes better than sleep!” लालूने वाकून नमस्कार केला आणि म्हणाला, “मेहनतीला झोपेपेक्षा जास्त गोड चव आहे!”
     And from that day, he became the jungle’s favorite fit king! आणि त्या दिवसापासून तो जंगलाचा आवडता तंदुरुस्त राजा बनला!
