how-to-identify-simple-future-tense

We use the Simple Future Tense to talk about things that will happen later or in the future. It tells us what someone will do. Let’s learn how to spot it in a paragraph.

How to Identify Simple Future Tense:
• Structure:
• Subject + will + base verb + Object
• Example: I will go, She will eat, They will play

• Usage:
• To talk about planned or expected actions
• Keywords: tomorrow, next week, later, soon, in the evening, etc.

• Verb Form:
• The main verb stays in base form, with ‘will’ before it
• Example: He will come, We will study

Daily-Use Paragraph (Simple Future Tense):

I will wake up early tomorrow. मी उद्या लवकर उठेन. I will brush my teeth and take a bath.
मी दात घासेन आणि आंघोळ करेन. Then I will eat my breakfast. मग मी नाश्ता करेन. My mother will give me my lunchbox. माझी आई मला डब्बा देईल. I will go to school at 8 o’clock. मी आठ वाजता शाळेत जाईन.

How to Identify:
• The verbs will wake up, will brush, will eat, will give, will go all use ‘will’ + base verb.
• These actions are going to happen in the future (tomorrow), so this is Simple Future Tense.
