The Clever Crow and the Hidden Danger

     It was a hot summer afternoon. उन्हाळ्याची तीव्र दुपार होती. A thirsty crow flew over a village looking for water. तहानलेला कावळा पाण्याच्या शोधात गावावरून उडत होता. Suddenly, he saw a shiny pot near a small hut. अचानक त्याला एका झोपडीजवळ चकाकणारा माठ दिसला. He flew down quickly. तो पटकन खाली उतरला.
     There was little water at the bottom, just like before. But this time, there was something strange—a snake was sleeping beside the pot!
माठात अगदी थोडंसे पाणी होते, पण यावेळी काहीतरी वेगळे होते —माठाजवळ एक साप झोपलेला होता! The crow was scared but didn’t give up. कावळा घाबरला, पण हार मानली नाही.

     He looked around and got an idea. त्याने आजूबाजूला पाहिलं आणि त्याला एक कल्पना सुचली. He picked up some red chilies lying nearby and dropped them one by one near the snake. त्याने जवळ पडलेल्या लाल मिरच्या उचलल्या आणि एकेक करत सापाजवळ टाकल्या.
     The smell made the snake hiss and slither away. मिरच्यांच्या वासामुळे साप फुसफुसत तेथून निघून गेला.
Then the crow dropped stones into the pot. मग कावळ्याने माठात दगड टाकायला सुरुवात केली. Slowly the water rose. हळूहळू पाणी वर आले. He drank the cool water and flew away safely and happily. त्याने थंड पाणी प्यायले आणि सुरक्षितपणे, आनंदाने उडून गेला.
