 Action Verb: SING

Hello, students! Today, we are going to learn a new action verb: SING.
Sing means to produce musical sounds with your voice. In Marathi, sing म्हणजे गाणे म्हणणे.
For example:
I sing a song.
मी गाणे म्हणते.
Here, sing tells us the action I am doing. Therefore, sing is a verb.
Now, let’s learn the three forms of this verb:
The first form is SING.
The second form is SANG.
The third form is SUNG.
So, remember: Sing – Sang – Sung.
We use sing in the present tense, sang in the simple past tense, and sung with helping verbs such as has, have, and had.
For example:
I sing a song every day. — मी दररोज गाणे म्हणते.
I sang a song yesterday. — मी काल गाणे म्हटले.
I have sung a song. — मी एक गाणे म्हटले आहे.
