Good morning, students! Today, we are going to learn how to arrange words in increasing order of their size or growth. विद्यार्थ्यांनो, आज आपण शब्दांचा आकार किंवा वाढ यानुसार लहानापासून मोठ्या क्रमाने शब्द कसे लावायचे ते शिकणार आहोत.
(1) A. Read aloud the following sets of words.
     (a) river, stream, sea, ocean
     (b) hill, stone, mountain, rock
     (c) plant, sapling, tree, seed
     (d) child, adult, baby, youth
(1) B. Rearrange each of the above sets of words according to the increasing order of their size/growth. वरील प्रत्येक गटातील शब्द त्यांच्या आकारमानानुसार किंवा वाढीनुसार लहानापासून मोठ्या क्रमाने लावा.
🔮How to Arrange the Words (शब्दांचा क्रम कसा लावायचा?)
First, read all the words carefully. प्रथम, सर्व शब्द काळजीपूर्वक वाचा. 

Arrange them from the smallest to the largest or from the earliest stage of growth to the final stage. त्यानंतर ते लहानापासून मोठ्यापर्यंत किंवा वाढीच्या सुरुवातीच्या अवस्थेपासून शेवटच्या अवस्थेपर्यंत क्रमाने लावा.

The last word should be the biggest or the final stage of growth. शेवटचा शब्द सर्वांत मोठा किंवा वाढीची अंतिम अवस्था दर्शवणारा असावा.

Correct order: Stream ➡️ River ➡️ Sea ➡️ Ocean

1. A stream is smaller than a river. ओढा नदीपेक्षा लहान असतो.

(d) Child, Adult, Baby, Youth
Correct order: Baby ➡️ Child ➡️ Youth ➡️ Adult
Explanation-
1. A baby is younger than a child. बाळ हे मुलापेक्षा वयाने लहान असते.
2. A child is younger than a youth. मूल हे तरुण व्यक्तीपेक्षा वयाने लहान असते.
3. A youth is younger than an adult. तरुण व्यक्ती ही प्रौढ व्यक्तीपेक्षा वयाने लहान असते.
4. An adult is the oldest. प्रौढ व्यक्ती सर्वांत मोठी असते.
Remember
Increasing order means arranging from the smallest to the largest.
चढता क्रम म्हणजे लहानापासून मोठ्यापर्यंत शब्दांची मांडणी करणे.
For growth, arrange the words from the earliest stage to the final stage.
वाढीनुसार शब्दांची मांडणी करताना सुरुवातीच्या अवस्थेपासून अंतिम अवस्थेपर्यंत क्रम लावा.
