If parts of the day are followed by dates or days - 'on' is used -
on the morning of the 15th, on Tuesday afternoon, on Saturday evening
By the time - before / not later than that time

since 9o'clock, since 6th May, since last week, since 2020, since my childhood
for four hours, for several days, for the last month, for two years, for a long time
🟥 Note that since is used with 'last week', 'last month', etc.
and for is used with 'the last week', 'the last month' etc.
🟥 No preposition is used before time phrases beginning with last, next, this, that.
We went there last month. आम्ही गेल्या महिन्यात तेथे गेलो.
I will give you chocolates next Saturday. पुढच्या शनिवारी मी तुला चॉकलेट्स देईन.
