USES OF PRESENT TENSE

🔴 Simple Present Tense

🟥 To show a habitual action, routine or habit

I go to college everyday. मी रोज कॉलेजला जाते.

🟥 To state a fact or universal truth.

The Sun rises in the east. सूर्य पूर्वेला उगवतो.

🟥 To express a future event.

Our examination begins next week.

पुढच्या आठवड्यात आमची परीक्षा सुरू होते.

🔴 Present Continuous Tense

🟥 To describe an action that is going on at the time of speaking

I am cooking now. मी आता जेवण बनवत आहे.

🟥 To express an action that is certainly going to happen in the near future

We are going to Kashmir in December. आम्ही डिसेंबर मध्ये कश्मिरला जाणार आहोत.

🔴 Present Perfect Tense

🟥 To show an action that has just been completed.

I have watered these plants. मी या झाडांना पाणी घातले आहे.

🟥 To tell about an action which started in the past and is still continuing

I have lived in Pune ten years. मी इथे दहा वर्षांपासून राहत आहे.

🔴 Present Perfect Continuous Tense

🟥 To show an action which started in the past but is still continuing

I have been cleaning my room since morning. मी सकाळपासून माझी खोली स्वच्छ करत आहे.
