VISITS TO A SCHOOL READING ROOM

     We have a separate reading room in our school library. आमच्या शाळेच्या ग्रंथालयात स्वतंत्र वाचन कक्ष आहे. It is a spacious, well-lit and airy room. ही एक प्रशस्त, सुसज्ज आणि हवेशीर रूम आहे. It is suitably furnished with tables, chairs and stands. ते टेबल, खुर्च्या आणि स्टँडसह सुसज्ज आहे. The reading room remains open from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. वाचन कक्ष सकाळी ८ वाजल्यापासून ते ११ वाजेपर्यंत खुला असतो. Students take benefit of the reading room everyday. विद्यार्थी दररोज वाचन कक्षाचा लाभ घेतात. The 'Indian Express', 'The Times of India', 'Maharashtra Times', Loksatta' are the dailies received in the reading room. 'द इंडियन एक्स्प्रेस', 'टाइम्स ऑफ इंडिया', 'महाराष्ट्र टाइम्स', लोकसत्ता' ही वाचन कक्षात मिळणारी दैनिके आहेत.  Besides these newspapers two monthlies and two weeklies are regularly received there. याशिवाय दोन मासिके व दोन साप्ताहिकेही तेथे नियमितपणे मिळतात. Students like to read 'Science Today', India Today', 'The Sports Weekly'. विद्यार्थ्यांना 'सायन्स टुडे', इंडिया टुडे', 'द स्पोर्ट्स वीकली' वाचायला आवडते. The newspapers are placed on stands and tables. वर्तमानपत्रे स्टँड आणि टेबलावर मांडली जातात. The monthlies and weeklies are placed on tables. मासिके आणि साप्ताहिके टेबलवर मांडली जातात. Students stand at the stands or sit at the tables to read. विद्यार्थी स्टँडच्या बाजूला उभे असतात किंवा वाचण्यासाठी टेबलावर बसतात.

     The reading room is used by the students to read newspapers, magazines and weeklies to get information and to keep themselves update. वाचन कक्षाचा वापर विद्यार्थी वर्तमानपत्रे, मासिके आणि साप्ताहिके वाचण्यासाठी आणि माहिती मिळविण्यासाठी करतात. They also read and study books borrowed from the school library. शाळेच्या ग्रंथालयातून घेतलेली पुस्तकेही ते वाचतात आणि अभ्यासतात. Some students sit in the reading room and do their project work there. काही विद्यार्थी रीडिंग रूममध्ये बसून तिथे त्यांचे प्रोजेक्टचे काम करतात. 

     There is pindrop silence in the reading room. वाचनकक्षामध्ये शांतता असते. Students are busy reading, writing or taking notes. विद्यार्थी वाचन, लेखन किंवा नोट्स काढण्यात व्यस्त असतात. The reading room in our school is a great blessing to the students who don't have reading facilities at home. ज्या विद्यार्थ्यांना घरी वाचनाची सोय नाही त्यांच्यासाठी आमच्या शाळेतील वाचन कक्ष हा एक मोठा वरदान आहे. Students add their general knowledge by reading books. पुस्तके वाचून विद्यार्थी त्यांच्या सामान्य ज्ञानात भर घालतात. It develops The reading habit in students. त्यातून विद्यार्थ्यांमध्ये वाचनाची सवय निर्माण होते.
