A MIMIC STANDS DUMB

  

     There was a rich man who had a lot of money. But he had no work to do. So he spent his time at the cinema seeing films.

     He saw a great number of films and amused himself by imitating the voices of well-known actors. He soon became highly skilled in mimicry and was eager to show off his skill.

     One day he gave a grand dinner and invited all his friends to it. After dinner, he decided to show them his skill. He mimicked one actor after another and his friends were really amused for some time. They clapped loudly. This encouraged him to go on. He continued for a long time.

     His guests finally got tired of listening. They wished him to stop. But he went on and on. "Do you want another omitation?" he asked them.

     One if his guests was really an intelligent man. He quickly though of a way to silence the boastful rich fellow. He said to him, "Yes, of course. Please imitate a dumb man."

     The rich man remained dumb!
