A Noun Clause
An Adjective Clause
An Adverb Clause.
In such cases, in order to name the clause correctly, we must find out what work it does in the sentences.
Study carefully the following examples:
WHY
NOUN CLAUSE
🔺 I can tell you why she is nervous. ती नाराज का आहे ते मी तुला सांगू शकते.
Here the clause, why she is nervous, is the object of the verb tell in the MainClause.
It is therefore a noun clause.
ADJECTIVE CLAUSE
🔺 I can tell you the reason why she is nervous. ती नाराज का आहे ते कारण मी तुला सांगू शकते.
Here the same clause qualifies the noun reason in the Main Clause.
It is therefore an adjective clause.
