Write a speech on the occasion of Independence Day for your school.
Respected Guest, Principal, Teachers, and friends
With great pride, I speak to you on the 77th Independence Day of Amar Bharat. I want all of you to close your eyes and imagine the scene 76 years ago when the Indian Tricolor was hoisted while the British flag was lowered. Splendid! I must say.
But really – do we live and respect our Independence? Do we at least introspect and audit the strength and weakness of ourselves and our country? Do we even pledge to march ahead and make India into super power?
We are all silent. Yes, as a young boy of 14 years, I would like to promise myself that as I live, I will respect my country and value my independence. I breathe fresh air in independent India. I want to thank all my forefathers and freedom fighters who struggled to give me this beautiful day. It's a matter of pride. It's not just a holiday – it's a day to renew our vows, introspect, reflect, and at least vow to move ahead. Yes, I vow to you, my India, my country, that I will always maintain your glory. To you, my country, a very Happy Birthday!
Let us all salute the Tricolor and promise to never disrespect the flag of our country. Yes friends, on our shoulders lies the future of this beautiful nation. Let’s all always sing the national anthem and voice the pledge with respect and honor for our motherland.
"Hum sab Bharatiya hain!" Say it with pride. I love my India.
