A family, the Sharmas, moved into a large, old haveli in Rajasthan with a mysterious locked room. The previous owner, an elderly man named Mr. Singh, warned them never to open the door, insisting it was for their own safety. For years, the Sharmas obeyed, but as time passed, Mr. Sharma, the father, became increasingly curious about what lay behind the door. His obsession grew until he could no longer resist the urge to uncover the secret, despite the unease it brought him.
One evening, driven by an overwhelming need to know, Mr. Sharma decided to break the lock. As he forced the door open, a rush of icy air swept through the haveli, chilling him to his core. Inside the room, he saw a figure sitting in an old, dusty chair, its back turned to him. The air grew heavy with dread, but he couldn’t look away. Slowly, the figure turned its head, revealing a face identical to Mr. Sharma’s, but twisted and filled with malice. Terrified, he slammed the door shut, but it was too late—the malevolent doppelgänger had escaped.
From that moment on, the Sharmas' lives descended into a nightmare. The once-peaceful haveli was plagued by eerie occurrences—furniture moved on its own, disembodied whispers filled the air, and sinister shadows seemed to follow them. Mr. Sharma, once a strong and rational man, began to lose his sanity, tormented by the presence of his evil double. The feeling of being watched by the doppelgänger drove him to the brink of madness, leaving the family to suffer the terrifying consequences of a curiosity that should have remained locked away forever.
