A Conversation at the LIC Office – Inquiry About a Lapsed Policy

(Scene: Mr. Bhosle enters the LIC office and approaches the inquiry counter. The LIC officer, Ms. Jog, greets him.)

Mr. Bhosle: Good morning, ma’am. I have an LIC policy, but I couldn’t pay the premium on time. I think my policy has lapsed. What should I do now? शुभ सकाळ, मॅडम. माझ्याकडे एक LIC पॉलिसी आहे, पण मी वेळेवर प्रीमियम भरू शकलो नाही. माझी पॉलिसी लॅप्स झाली असेल. आता मी काय करू?
