The Clever Rabbit (चतुर ससा)

This is a story of a smart little rabbit who saved all the animals. ही गोष्ट एका हुशार लहान सशाची आहे, ज्याने सर्व प्राण्यांना वाचवले.

     There was a big lion in the forest. जंगलात एक मोठा सिंह होता. He ate one animal every day.
तो रोज एक प्राणी खात असे. All the animals were very scared. सर्व प्राणी खूप घाबरले होते.
     One day, it was the turn of a small rabbit. एक दिवस एका छोट्या सशाची पाळी आली. He thought of a clever plan. त्याने एक शहाणा उपाय शोधला.
The rabbit went to the lion. ससा सिंहाजवळ गेला. He said, “Sorry, I am late. Another lion stopped me. He says he is the real king!” तो म्हणाला, "माफ करा, मी उशीर झालो. दुसऱ्या सिंहाने मला अडवले. तो म्हणतो की तोच खरा राजा आहे!"
     The lion got very angry.
सिंह खूप रागावला. He shouted, “Take me to him!” तो म्हणाला, “मलाच त्याच्याकडे घेऊन चल!” The rabbit took him to a well and said, “Sir, he is inside this well.” सशाने त्याला एका विहिरीजवळ नेले आणि म्हणाला, "साहेब, तो त्या विहिरीत आहे."
     The lion looked into the well and saw his own face in the water. सिंहाने विहिरीत पाहिले आणि पाण्यात आपलाच चेहरा पाहिला. He thought it was the other lion. त्याला वाटले की तो दुसरा सिंह आहे. He jumped in to fight and drowned! त्याने लढायला विहिरीत उडी मारली आणि बुडाला!
     All the animals were happy and safe again. सर्व प्राणी पुन्हा आनंदी आणि सुरक्षित झाले.

Moral: Be smart in difficult times.
