The Greedy Dog (लोभी कुत्रा)

This story teaches us why we should not be greedy. लोभीपणा का करू नये असे ही गोष्ट आपल्याला सांगते.

     One day, a dog found a big bone. एके दिवशी एका कुत्र्याला एक मोठे हाड सापडले. He was very happy and ran near a river. तो खूप खुश झाला आणि नदीकाठी गेला.
     When he looked into the water, he saw his own face. त्याने पाण्यात पाहिले तेव्हा त्याला आपलाच चेहरा दिसला. He thought it was another dog with a bone. त्याला वाटले की दुसऱ्या कुत्र्याजवळही हाड आहे.
     He wanted that bone too. त्यालाही ते हाड हवे होते. So, he barked loudly. म्हणून तो मोठ्याने भुंकला. As he opened his mouth, his own bone fell into the river! जसे त्याने तोंड उघडले, तसे त्याचे हाड नदीत पडले!
     He lost his bone. त्याचे हाड गेले. He was left with nothing. आता त्याच्याकडे काहीच उरले नाही.

Moral: Don’t be greedy. लोभीपणा करू नका.
