A VISIT TO AN EXHIBITION

     Last Sunday, our neighbors visited an exhibition at Kalachowki, and as they spoke of the exhibition, our curiosity was aroused. गेल्या रविवारी, आमच्या शेजाऱ्यांनी काळाचौकी येथील प्रदर्शनाला भेट दिली आणि त्यांनी प्रदर्शनाबद्दल सांगितले आणि आमची उत्सुकता वाढली. My father read the advertisement in newspapers too. माझ्या वडिलांनीही वर्तमानपत्रात जाहिरात वाचली. He decided to take us there on Saturday, which was his weekly off. त्यांनी आम्हाला शनिवारी, त्यांच्या आठवड्याच्या सुट्टीच्या दिवशी तेथे घेऊन जायचे ठरवले.

     Off we drove to the place on Saturday evening! शनिवारी संध्याकाळी आम्ही त्या ठिकाणी निघालो! It was difficult to find a parking space. Finally, we squeezed in between 2 cars. पार्किंगसाठी जागा मिळणे अवघड होते, शेवटी आम्ही दोन गाड्यांच्यामध्ये घुसलो. As we reached there, we were dazzled by the decoratively mounted entrance and the glittering lights everywhere. तिथे पोहोचताच सजावटीने बसवलेले प्रवेशद्वार आणि सर्वत्र लखलखणारे दिवे पाहून आम्ही थक्क झालो. The place looked like a fairyland spread out over a vast maidan. ती जागा विस्तीर्ण मैदानात पसरलेल्या प-यांच्या दुनियेसारखी भासत होती. There were stalls all over the place; salesmen were doing brisk business. ठिकठिकाणी स्टॉल्स लावलेले होते; सेल्समन जोमाने व्यवसाय करत होते. We were pushed along inside, with the vast crowds, looking eagerly all around. आजूबाजूला उत्सुकतेने बघत असलेल्या अफाट गर्दीत आम्ही आत ढकलले गेलो.

     There was a wide variety of goods. तेथे विविध प्रकारच्या वस्तू होत्या. Clothes, jewelry, cosmetics, furniture, household articles, gadgets, pottery, real and artificial flowers, shopping bags and handbags,and food items; the list was endless. कपडे, दागिने, सौंदर्य प्रसाधने, फर्निचर, घरगुती वस्तू, गॅझेट्स, मातीची भांडी, वास्तविक आणि कृत्रिम फुले, शॉपिंग बॅग आणि हाताच्या पिशव्या, खाद्यपदार्थ; यादी न संपणारी होती. There was something for everyone! प्रत्येकासाठी काहीतरी होते! There were so many things to buy. खरेदी करण्यासारख्या खूप गोष्टी होत्या. My mother bought a handbag and bedsheets. माझ्या आईने हँड बॅग आणि बेडशीटस विकत घेतल्या. My sister bought a necklace and cosmetics for her. माझ्या बहिणीने तिच्यासाठी एक नेकलेस आणि सौंदर्यप्रसाधने विकत घेतली. I bought 3 kurtas and bangles for me. मी माझ्यासाठी तीन कुर्त्या आणि बांगड्या विकत घेतल्या. My father bought some flower plants. माझ्या वडिलांनी काही फुलांची रोपे विकत घेतली. My mother and father wanted to see more of the stalls, so we children went to the play area. आई आणि वडिलांना आणखी स्टॉल्स पाहायचे होते, म्हणून आम्ही मुले खेळण्याच्या ठिकाणी गेलो. We enjoyed rides on a giant wheel and merry-go-round. आम्ही मोठ्या पाळण्यात आणि चक्री पाळण्यात आनंद  घेतला. We had a fabulous time on the rides. आम्ही राईड्सवर खूप छान वेळ घालवला. A magician and a clown were entertaining the people. जादूगार आणि जोकर लोकांचे  मनोरंजन करत होते. Some people were sitting in front of the fortune-teller. काही लोक ज्योतिषाच्या समोर बसले होते.  Soon, our parents joined us and we moved on to the refreshments section. लवकरच आमचे पालक आमच्यात सामील झाले आणि आम्ही अल्पोपाहार विभागात गेलो. We ordered lollypops, pizzas, and burgers. आम्ही लॉली पॉप, पिझ्झा आणि बर्गर ऑर्डर केले. Then, we had icecreams. मग आम्ही आईस्क्रीम खाल्ली.

     Finally, it was time to leave. शेवटी निघायची वेळ झाली. Our legs were aching because of long walks. सर्वत्र फिरत असताना, आमचे पाय दुखत होते. We all were tired but happy. We flopped onto our seats and drove home! थकल्यासारखे पण आनंदी आम्ही आमच्या सीटवर बसलो आणि घराकडे निघालो!
